Yoav is a journalist, researcher, and editor focusing on Jewish thought and history and on questions of public policy in Israel. He created and edited the intellectual ‘Shabbat’ section of Makor Rishon; served as assistant to Minister Binyamin Elon z”l; and wrote ‘The Israeli Covenant’ (2015). He completed his PhD in Jewish History at Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Rabbi Pfeffer has served as a Rabbinical judge, community rabbi, moderator of an international Jewish-law website, and chief editor of the Ner LeElef program. He has written extensively on Jewish law and thought, and lectures widely in Israel and abroad. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (summa cum laude) in Law from Hebrew University, clerked at the Supreme Court of Israel, and lectures at Hebrew University. He lives in Ramot with his wife and eight children.

In addition, Hodaya promotes the "Haredim for Politics" program of the Iyun Institute. Hodaya has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Humanities from the Open University and is a Master's student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

She has substantial experience in administration and management in the Israeli private sector, and in non-profit organizations such as the Steinsaltz Institute for Jewish Studies. Until 1995, she served as a senior researcher in the State Institute for Optical Research in Russia. She obtained a Masters of Science in Chemistry in the State University, Russia.
